About the tour
This tour is for anyone curious about what Phu Quoc is really like beyond its beaches. In one day we'll show you the main sights of the island's south. Transfer, guide and lunch are already included.
We start at a pearl farm — Phu Quoc is famous for its pearls. You'll see how they're cultivated and, if you like, pick out jewelry straight from the producer. Next is Coconut Tree Prison, a memorial complex where your guide will tell you about one of the most dramatic chapters in Vietnam's history.
Then it's time to unwind on Khem Beach, one of the most beautiful on the island: soft white sand and turquoise water. After that, Ho Quoc Pagoda, the largest Buddhist temple in the region, set on a hillside with sea views, and a pepper farm where the famous Phu Quoc pepper grows.
On request, we'll add a sim (rose myrtle) wine tasting and a fish sauce factory — two of the island's signature products.
Who it's for
First-time visitors who want to see more of Phu Quoc than the beach in a single day. Great for families with kids and older travelers: plenty to see and nothing physically demanding — the only stairs are at Ho Quoc Pagoda.
Not recommended for
Those who want to spend the whole day at sea — our island boat trips are made for that. Coconut Tree Prison covers a dark chapter of history, and the exhibits may upset young children.
